Church Street Unity in Colours

This project demonstrates how public art can mirror a community and its environment, fostering and reinforcing its cultural identity. The custom LED art installation was created through a collaboration between the City of Toronto and the TDSB (in collaboration with Mulvey & Banani Lighting, JSW & Associates, Revington Studios and Kenetics), aimed at reinforcing community values and raising awareness. Located in downtown Toronto, which was previously surrounded by a dilapidated chain-link fence, the site has now been transformed into a vibrant public art piece.
